Grace International Children’s Foundation (GICF) will establish sustainable loving homes for orphans in East Africa that develop children to reach their full potential.

GICF Vision Statement
Through God’s grace, abiding by Christian principles of unwavering integrity and commitment, and as we are blessed with provision and funding, GICF will continue to develop Lulwanda Children’s Home (LCH) in Uganda with a longer-term view of establishing additional homes. Our vision is captured in the following six themes.

Care of the Children: Our vision is to provide a safe, loving home environment for the children God has entrusted to us, including nutritious meals, creative playtime activities, superior education and complete medical care.

Additional Children: Our vision is to take in and care for 130 orphaned and abandoned children at LCH.

Education: Our vision is to continue to provide a complete Primary School where English, math, science, computer and life skills will be taught. We will further provide secondary education as well as university education for those children who have the appropriate ability. For other children, we will provide the opportunity to attend trade schools to develop technical skills. These endeavors will prepare the children to enter the Ugandan workforce as productive citizens.

Community Outreach: Our vision is to admit as many as 170 children from the local area into Lulwanda Primary School thereby extending the impact of GICF to the surrounding community. We will seek ways for the Lulwanda children to interact with the surrounding community and benefit the children therein.

Medical Care:
Our vision is to provide medical care through the Hesed Health Centre located at LCH which will serve the LCH children and staff.

Additional Children's Homes or Programs: Our vision after Lulwanda is fully built out is to start a new facility in East Africa to help some of the 2 million destitute orphans, utilizing the knowledge gained from the operations at LCH. Although a different living arrangement model may be adopted, Lulwanda Children's Home is the base from which future child care will be administered and training provided for future staff.
