Grace International Children’s Foundation will establish sustainable loving homes for orphans in East Africa that develop children to reach their full potential.
GICF Vision Statement:
Through God’s grace and abiding by Christian principles of unwavering integrity and commitment, GICF will continue to develop Lulwanda Children’s Home as we are blessed with provision and funding.
Additional Children
Our vision is to house 140 children at LCH, with classrooms and teachers providing private schooling for up to 300 children. English, math, science, computer and life skills will be taught.
Community Outreach
Our vision is to build classrooms to extend the private schooling for an additional 160 children from the local area thereby extending the impact of GICF to the surrounding community.
Job Skill Training
Our vision is to build and operate a small trade school to provide technical training for the teenage children of LCH to prepare them to enter the Ugandan workforce as productive citizens. A college fund has been established to provide for the gifted children of LCH to further their education at a college or university. Further donations to this fund are welcomed.
Medical Care
Our vision is to construct and operate a local medical clinic located at LCH which will serve the LCH children and staff.
Additional Children’s Homes
Our vision after LCH is fully built out is to start a new facility in East Africa to help some of the 2 million destitute children based upon the model and knowledge gained from the operations at LCH. Lulwanda Children’s Home is the base from which future children’s homes will be administered and will provide the training for future staff for additional homes.
