Establishing sustainable loving homes for orphans in East Africa that develop children to reach their full potential.
Happy Thanksgiving

We give thanks to the Lord for you our dear supporter. Your partnership in caring for the children at Lulwanda blesses the heart of God. He is the Father to the Fatherless and a good provider for His children through your faithful prayers and financial support. "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed" Proverbs 19:17. May you see the goodness of the Lord in your lives this Thanksgiving and always.

Greetings from Lulwanda Children's Home. On behalf of the children and the staff, I wish to convey our sincere message of thanks to all our beloved sponsors and the donor community upon reaching this Thanksgiving Holiday. Enjoy the turkey as a meal and the holiday at large and be blessed as you continue to support and pray for us.

Blessings,

Project Updates From Lulwanda

All 120 children at Lulwanda and Lulwanda Tendo are doing great. They are studying and reviewing their books as the close of the school year and the December / January break approaches. The Primary 7 class has already taken their National Leaving Exam and are relaxing while awaiting results in late January.

Besides discipling and loving on children, many projects are underway to provide for their physical care using the resources you have provided. Our self-funded missionary John Palmer is spearheading the following efforts:
The Lulwanda water well gets a much needed workover in the hope that we can stop using the expensive city water system. We are determining if the water quality is acceptable and the flow rate high enough to justify installing a solar powered pump.
The Lulwanda Primary School gets its first solar panel, which provides lighting for early morning and late evening study.
Tilapia ponds have been built at our farm land and will soon be stocked. Once the fish have grown, they will be harvested and served up at Lulwanda.
Lack of storage space is a problem at Lulwanda. Shipping containers are being renovated and covered with a roof to protect from the elements. They will then be used to store food grains purchased when the market prices are low.
