An important part of the growth and development of the children is the outreach programs carried out at Lulwanda. We consider it essential that the children learn to bless others, in the same way as sponsors and supporters on the other side of the world have blessed them.
Our largest and most structured outreach program, active since 2007, is the Good Neighbor Program. In this project, the children of Lulwanda are each paired with a child from a neighboring community family. The participating neighbor children receive free tuition to Lulwanda Primary School, thereby ensuring that they will be given the best education available in the Bulolelo Village community. These children interact with their Lulwanda friends on a daily basis on the Lulwanda campus, which ensures the children of Lulwanda remain connected to the local community.
