Lulwanda Primary School (LPS) is located on the campus of Lulwanda Children’s Home and consists of a pre-school, kindergarten, and first through seventh grades. Children are taught the curriculum of the Ugandan Ministry for Education, with supplemental educational materials and subjects added from abroad. Instruction is in English, the official language of Uganda. LPS children have consistently been given the foundation to succeed in Secondary School education as demonstrated by their standardized test scores, taken before entering secondary schools.
The Lulwanda children are joined by students from the surrounding communities, who attend LPS on a reduced fee basis. These children benefit from a high quality, private school in their rural community which is made available by our supporters. Lulwanda, since its inception, has strived to be a blessing to the local Bulolelo community through numerous programs like The Good Neighbor program and LPS.
