Ryan and Megan Kelley and their family served as Lulwanda Missionaries, living in Uganda from 2016-2022. While in-country, Ryan provided medical oversight and care of the young children living at Lulwanda and the young adults living at Tendo Youth Home, and Ryan still consults the on-site nurse and partner clinic when needed. Ryan and Megan’s ministry progressed to encompass a discipleship program for the young children and staff at Lulwanda, as well as a weekly Bible study for the young adults of Tendo and the alumni of the Lulwanda program.
In 2022, the Kelley family moved from Uganda to the USA in order to provide educational opportunities for their now older children. Much to our delight, the discipleship ministry that they started at Lulwanda has continued through remote teaching and support. Ryan prepares a weekly Bible study to be administered by Pastor Martin at Lulwanda and Elder Jackson at Tendo, thereby keeping the spiritual teaching active in the lives of the children. Ryan communicates daily with Lulwanda young adults.
Ryan and Megan plan to make bi-annual trips back to Uganda to remain in close contact with the children, staff, and young adults of the Lulwanda program, with the hope of relocating to Uganda again one day. Your support of their discipleship ministry will allow them to remain hands on with the spiritual development of the children, even as they serve as Lulwanda Missionaries from the USA.
